Matthew Herbst

Hello. My name is Matthew Herbst. I am a Postdoc in the Quantum Nanomechanics group at Aalto University near Helsinki, Finland.

My major scientific interests are fundamental research in quantum gravity, superconducting devices, and cryogenic X-ray detectors. After work, I enjoy handball, 3D modeling (see above), playing piano, or working on my home-made periodic table of elements.
